Last saturday...

Our youth had a fund-raising Valentine's dinner... all was quite well-planned out... we were even equipped with a baby-sitting department... I was in charge of decor n song dedication... decor looked great to me... LOL... was a simple centerpiece for each table... but a lot of effort was put into it...

the centerpiece...

I cut the hearts from soap, for the one outside 'what-looks-like-a-vase-but-is-actually-a-beer-glass-from-ikea'... there are two hearts in the glass... both made of wire and sprayed gold... the glass is decorated on the outside with a gold paper ribbon tying together two sticks of kayu manis or cinnamon sticks... the idea evolved to be wat it looks like now coz of the lack of funds for decor, expensive cost of flowers during Valentine's n contribution of ideas frm friends n sis...


the song dedication was fun... din expect the couples to be so sporting and very open about their love for each other... and while searching for songs for the dedication list, i found more songs to put in my own list... some oldies are actually nice... songs from stevie wonder and james taylor...

I did kinda enjoy myself... at least at the last part... wasn't feeling too well...
